Hagued Mums was created out of lived experience and necessity. Our founder — an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in technology, international operations, and leadership of high-profile organisations — became a Hagued Mum herself. Despite her background and resources, she quickly discovered a devastating truth: there was no real support for mothers facing cross-border legal crises.

What existed instead were services and organisations that, however well-intentioned they claim to be, often centred their efforts on the other parent or operated under structures where key decision-making roles were held by professionals whose industries benefit financially from prolonged litigation. In this landscape, genuine mother-led expertise was not just missing — it was excluded.

Drawing on decades of leading large, complex teams, our founder recognised that meaningful change cannot come from institutions that profit from the current system. It must come from us — the women who have lived through it.
Only coordinated, strategic, collective action led by mothers themselves can challenge the systems that have failed us.

A Global Movement Born From Necessity

Hagued Mums is not a business.
We are a global movement built by mothers for mothers — a network formed to provide genuine guidance, professional knowledge, and strategic support for families trapped in cross-border legal conflict.

We stand apart because: 

• We are not driven by profit.
• We do not operate under organisations whose priorities are influenced by legal industries.
• We do not rely on “expert panels” where real Hagued Mums’ voices are noticeably absent.

Instead, we are powered by a worldwide community of dedicated Hague mothers — doctors, lawyers, executives, home carers, educators, entrepreneurs, and more — who volunteer their time and professional skills to protect children, expose systemic failures, and support one another through the harsh realities few outsiders truly understand.

The resources and expertise we needed were always within our own community. Our founder recognised this strength and built a structure that allows those skills to come together with purpose, discipline, and impact.

Our Philosophy

We believe mothers are the Primary Stakeholders in their children’s lives.
Any organisation claiming to represent us must be led by us — not by external actors, commercial interests, or those who have never lived the consequences of being Hagued.

Our lived experience is not theoretical, academic, or detached.
It is real.

And it positions us as the most credible voices for reform.
